Body found in suitcase believed to be swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore

Authorities believe they've found the body of the 28-year-old swimsuit model who went missing several days ago.

Tuesday, police announced that a body found in Buena Park, Calif. on Saturday has been identified as that of missing model, Jasmine Fiore, according to KABC-TV.

The body, inside a small suitcase that was not zipped up, was discovered early Saturday in a trash bin by a passerby, reports the Orange County Register. KTLA is reporting Jasmine may have been strangled.

Jasmine was last seen only a few days ago at her Fairfax District home. She had recently moved to the Los Angeles area from Las Vegas to open a personal training business.

Her mother told authorities her daughter was getting ready to make a trip to San Diego for a poker tournament. Jasmine’s white 2007 Mercedes CL S550 is also missing and is described as having tinted windows, black rims, and paper license plates that read “Platinum Motors.”

Jasmine had modeled for Las Vegas hotels, worked as an events coordinator for Playboy’s ‘Girls of Golf,’ and done advertising for radio personality Howard Stern.

She had recently dyed her hair black and changed her last name from Kinkaid to Fiore.
