A young man was getting ready to graduate from college.
For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had
purchased the car.Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study.His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,
"With all your money you give me a Bible?"
And stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.
Many years passed and the young man was very
successful in business.
He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him.
He had not seen him since that graduation day.
Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.
He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still
new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages.
His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
"And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible.
It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...
PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God's blessing because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for...

A Day with friends

Last Saturday I was invited by a friend of mine to attend her birthday party in one of the beautiful resorts here in General Santos City. We went to Olaer Spring which is not so far from the city proper and very accessible to get in there. We had so much fun,I met new set of friends,the foods were great,the place is so relaxing,the weather was good and really a good day for swimming..Here are some pictures i took:
It's me and my friend gorgina along the bridge..It is a very beautiful resort,so relaxing and very close to the nature because of the different trees surrounded in the place.

It was so cold but still managed to smile...hehehehe but it was worth the fun.
Me again of course...lol........
My favorite picture so far..Can you tell how beautiful the place is.
Swimming time..Me and Gorgina...She is Miss Dang at the middle,i never thought that Me and Gorgina has a common friend.Miss Dang is her childhood friend and i know Miss dang from the LTO, great acquintance.

White rosebuds, for example, are a traditional symbol for girlhood and carry an underlying message of one too young for love. While perhaps no longer falling into the realm of common knowledge, this is still very much a part of the language of roses.

White roses can mean many things to many different people. They can symbolize new beginnings, or be a sign of farewell. They can convey feelings of love, friendship, respect and hope. Underlying all of these messages is the impression of innocence and purity with which white roses are now synonymous. An arrangement of white roses is not only beautiful; it can carry a complexity that belies its simpler appearance. Super typhoon FRANK

It's been how many days that super typhoon FRANK is in the country (Philippines),It has been affecting so many cities, it has been destroying lots of properties in any part of the country, Lots were dead and were missing because of this typhoon and just recently in the news a ship sunk somewhere in Romblon and 7 were declared dead and still many are missing..The weather forecast can't determine yet to when this super typhoon will leave the country..It is so sad to hear some news like this, Alot of people are losing their houses and some properties and what touches me most are those children who are so young to experience this kind of calamities..Lord God please help them..I hope and pray that everything will be fine soon and back to normal and that everyone could go back to their own respective lives..Let's Pray for our fellowmen who are going through this trials..

after 4 long years,im back

It's been 4 longs years that i haven't been to my granny's farm. Before when i was still a student,i use to spend my summer vacation at granny's but when i started working,i didn't get the chance to spend some time there but I am very glad that last weekend i was there. It's good to be back there,seeing my friends,my cousins,my aunts,uncles and some other relatives that i seldom see.I spent the night there and we all had a nice time telling stories and catching up on one's lives..Everything in the place seems the same but it has a lot more houses now and made the village more joyful.I had a great time seeing my family again. I got the chance to visit my grandparents grave at my granny's farm but honestly i really had a hard time reaching the place because we had to climbed 2 or more hills to get to the top,,,wwhhheewwww but it's all worth it and i enjoyed although i had a bodyache when i woke up the following day it's priceless.I hope to visit again there soon and I am looking forward to that,so here are some pictures i took when i was there,just forgive me with the dates,i forgot to set the date and time of my camera because of excitement..lol but it all happened last June 8-9,2008 at Baliton,Glan Sarangani Province.
It was my first time riding a horse,,gggeeeee you could tell on my reaction lol,i was really scared because the horse is moving and I'm always thinking that it may run so fast..OOHHH MY but it was worth a try though..Just hanging around the young coconut tree.This was taken at my granny's farm.
The thing i missed when having my vacation at granny's,eating young coconut,yummmmmmyyyyy!!!!!!!..it taste so good.I was very tired from all the walking and all the climbing but i still manage to take a pose..hehehehehe does it tell that im tired on this picture?:)
On our way to my uncle's house,I was always left behind because i walked so slow ..lol..I'm out of shape,,wwwwwaaaaaaaaaaa...Well i really had a great time at my granny's farm.
