this was the achievement i did last year april 5,2007..we went on mountain climbing trip with my officemates at MT.Matutum..It is an active volcano which is 7728feet above sea level..It was awesome,we hiked for about 14 hours just to get to the first stage which they called the phase one,we started at 8 in the morning and we've reached phase 1 around 5 in the afternoon,we spent the night at phase one and at 8 in the following morning,we started hiking again to reach the peak..It was more challenging,it has a lot of fun and risky as well..we reach the peak at 12:30 in the afternoon and it was all worth it,although it was so tiring but it was such a fulfillment being on top..as u can see on the picture,im on the peak of Mt.Matutum already,the sun was shining so bright on that day but geesss,it was so cold,we needed to wear 3 thick jackets,two jogging pants,2 pairs of socks and then shoes...It was such a nice experience and everytime i see Mt.Matutum from a far distance,i'm always been proud that once in my life i've been there..
